Your Password

Pick a password that nobody but you knows and use it for save my nature.

Hint: maximal security is achieved by using a combination of numbers, letters and special characters.

You should not use the following passwords, as they are easy to guess: names of friends, relatives or pets, favorite places, birthdates, phonenumbers, license plates. Furthermore, words that are connected to things you are interested in, like e.g. hobbies are not recommended.

Logging in and out

You can log in by clicking on "Log-In" in the top right menu, then entering your e-mail and your password and click on "Log-In" again. Logging-In

To log.out, just click the arrow next to your miniature picture. Pick "Log out" in the drop down menu.

Hint: Never forget to log out, when you are using a public computer

Your Name

Use your real name and lastname, only by this your friends can find you at save my nature.

Invented or false names do not work good in a network, because your friends cannot find you.

Your Profile Picture

Use a photo of you, where you are visible and that gives a good impression of you

Hint: Carefully pick your profile picture and remember, that everyone in the community can see this picture. See that you have the rights to use the image.

Your Images

Your photo-album can be easily accessed via the drop down menu in the top right menu. Just click the arrow next to your miniature picture and pick "Albums" from the list.

You can access your photos as well when you click on the thumbnails of your photos on your start- or profile page.

Use only pictures of you or people you know. Make sure that they consent to you, publishing pictures of them.

Please no naked photos or similar things. Also, images that violate human dignity are forbidden. Please read our terms for further information.

Geolocate Photos

You should locate uploaded photos on the map, so that everyone can see, where this photo belongs to.

To locate a photo, to the following: When uploading an image click on the "locate photo" icon. Now the main window will slide away and you can click on the part of the map where you want to locate the image. When you have found the right place, click "OK" in the map navigator on the left side. Then click "send".

If you want to locate an image after you have uploaded it, just select the image in single view. There you will find the "locate" icon. Now the main window will slide away and you can click on the part of the map where you want to locate the image. When you have found the right place, click "OK" in the map navigator on the left side. Then click the "save" button and your changes will be applied.

Locate photos, users, events, environmental problems

Save my nature is an international community, that focuses on the power of networking. The world-map is instrumental to this. Photos, users, events and environmental problems can be located on the map, so that other people can class them better.

Your Friends

Most security is achieved, if you only accept friend requests from people you know.

You can see everything your friends post on your starting page.

You can send messages only to your friends and receive only messages from them.

Your Private Messages

Your messages can be accessed by the letter icon in the menu bar

In the messaging area you can see all received messages and write messages to your friends.
